SingularityNET and Privado ID Collaborate to Build Decentralized AI Trust Registry
- The partners will establish verifiable onchain attestations and credentials for AI agents in order to assure trust and safety.
- Developers now have the ability to deploy AI Agents with provable identities and characteristics thanks to the deployment of the AI Agent Trust Registry.
A strategic technological collaboration between SingularityNET, a founding member of the Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) Alliance, and Privado ID, previously known as Polygon ID, has been revealed. The purpose of this partnership is to integrate trust into the decentralized AI Agent ecosystem. This goal will be accomplished by the creation of the first decentralized AI Agent Trust Registry by SingularityNET, ASI, and PrivadoID, as well as the distribution of AI Agent Decentralized Identifiers (DID).
The partners will establish verifiable onchain attestations and credentials for AI agents in order to assure trust and safety. This will be accomplished by merging the privacy-preserving decentralized identity technology of Privado ID with the artificial intelligence expertise of SingularityNET and the planned implementation of the ASI Innovation Stack. Users and other AI Agents will be able to engage in a safe, trustworthy, and open environment thanks to these credentials, which will verify essential information about AI Agents. This information will include their models, creators, audit status, and other relevant details.
Developers now have the ability to deploy AI Agents with provable identities and characteristics thanks to the deployment of the AI Agent Trust Registry, which represents a major development in decentralized artificial intelligence. A transparent communication layer will be investigated for the purpose of integration into ASI:Create and the larger ASI Innovation Stack. This layer will make use of decentralized identifiers (DIDs) from Privado ID and verifiable credentials that are secured by zero-knowledge proofs. By allowing users to check the legitimacy, safety, and fairness of an Agent, a secure and interoperable artificial intelligence network may be fostered.
Dr. Ben Goertzel, CEO of ASI and SingularityNET, stated:
“Our future won’t be defined solely by how AI communicates with humans, but by how AI systems interact seamlessly among themselves. By integrating Privado ID’s decentralized, privacy-first credentials into ASI:Create, we’re not just ensuring trust; we’re paving the way for a robust, autonomous network of AI agents.”
Sebastian Rodriguez, CPO of Privado ID and Former VP of Product at Polygon, added:
“I’m excited about the collaboration between Privado ID and SingularityNET as it addresses the essential need for verifiable identities in the agent-to-agent economy. Assigning unique, verifiable identities to AI agents ensures accountability and trust in their interactions and aligns with the ASI Innovation Stack’s vision of an open ecosystem by promoting interoperability and reducing reliance on centralized authorities.”
The rollout of the AI Agent Trust Registry and the testing of Privado ID’s identity infrastructure will proceed in stages: first, there will be a pilot that will integrate Privado ID credentials with the AIRIS AI Agent. Next, there will be a scalable registry that will validate complex attributes such as authenticity and safety by utilizing zero-knowledge proofs that protect users’ privacy. Finally, there will be an exploration of self-governance concepts for AI Agents. A solid basis for long-term integration into the ASI roadmap is provided by this tiered method, which guarantees both comprehensive data protection and thorough verification and hence provides a secure foundation. The teams will offer more updates when milestones are accomplished in partnership with SingularityNET, ASI, and Privado ID. This endeavor has already begun, and it will continue to do so.
This alliance, which is a cornerstone of the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance and includes SingularityNET, Fetch.ai, Ocean Protocol, and CUDOS, will promote the objective of the ASI, which is to accelerate the development of decentralized Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and Artificial Superintelligence (ASI). Through the progression of the effort, SingularityNET and Privado ID want to alter digital trust by establishing a robust and interoperable artificial intelligence network that is conducive to the flourishing of both human and machine intelligences.
Dr. Ben Goertzel founded SingularityNET with the intention of developing an Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) that is democratic, inclusive, decentralized, and beneficial to all parties involved. An Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) is not under the control of any centralized organization, is accessible to anybody, and is not limited to the specific objectives of a particular company or even a single nation. The SingularityNET team is comprised of seasoned professionals in the fields of engineering, science, academic research, business, and marketing. The core platform and artificial intelligence teams are further supplemented by specialist teams that are dedicated to application areas such as the media, arts, and entertainment, robotics, biomedical AI and the financial sector.
SingularityNET (SNET), Ocean Protocol, and CUDOS are the members of the Artificial Super Intelligence (ASI) Alliance, which is a collective that was founded by these four companies. With the goal of accelerating the development of decentralized Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and, eventually, Artificial Superintelligence (ASI), this alliance has the distinction of being the biggest open-sourced and autonomous body in the field of decentralized artificial intelligence research and development.
Privado ID is a digital identity platform that is decentralized and focuses on protecting users’ privacy. It gives users the ability to securely maintain and exchange verified credentials and credentials across a variety of apps and services. It provides data privacy and user control by using zero-knowledge proofs and conforming to the criteria set out by the W3C. Privado ID was first established as Polygon ID within the umbrella of Polygon Labs. However, it is now a separate company that is growing its influence across a variety of blockchain ecosystems.
